Nev Posted August 7, 2025 Report Posted August 7, 2025 The New World The soul is a temple of Truth, the mind is a sanctuary of Wisdom, the heart is an altar of Love. God created the world of light for the eyes, the world of sound for the ears, the world of fragrance for the nose, the world of speech for the mouth, work for the hands, movement for the feet, and the body to be a dwelling place for the soul. The old human being was created for life and movement. The new human being is created for Love and for Knowledge. Therefore, the human moves from life to Love; from Love to God. Only in this way can a person come to know that God is everything in the world. We do not speak of the world of darkness in which people wander, but of the world of Light, which opens their eyes to a new knowledge of God. We speak of the world of Light in which people are resurrected. God is the eternal beauty of life. God is the eternal fulfillment of Love. God is the eternal expression of beauty—the foundation of Goodness. In the new world that God is creating, all people are united into one whole, to live in Love. True are the words of the apostle Paul: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard what God has prepared for those who love Him.” God created the Universe for souls to live in it and rejoice in the Divine Glory with which He has clothed them. Christ says: “And the glory which You gave Me, I have given them, that they may be one, even as We are one” (John 17:22). When reading the Gospel, some religious people wish for the great truths of life to be revealed to them. But how can something be revealed to a person who keeps their eyes closed? As long as their eyes are shut, they see nothing. But once they open them, they will see everything that is shown to them. What can someone understand about light if their eyes are closed? No matter how much they are spoken to, they will not comprehend. To learn and acquire knowledge, one must open both eyes and ears to the light. Light carries sound, and sound carries the Word. What can you say to a person whose ears are shut? Whoever has eyes and ears but does not open them is condemned to suffering. What is suffering for the human soul? It is the condition for growth and development. Through suffering, the soul expands and matures. Its thoughts, feelings, and gifts blossom. It becomes a flower that spreads its fragrance afar, bears fruit that soon ripens. A soul that does not suffer remains a closed bud forever. Nourish your soul with the ripe fruits of your life so that it may grow, develop, and be continually liberated. The fruits of the soul are fruits of paradise—what every being longs for. Only now are human beings beginning to prepare for entry into the real life—a life full of beauty and inner sweetness. This real life is what we call the Divine Life. A life without sweetness becomes bitterness. A life without fragrance turns to stench. A life devoid of beauty descends into ugliness. Today, a new world is being created—one that requires new conditions, new foundations that will become flesh and blood within the human being. This is what we call reality in life. It is in this reality that the human soul will be expressed in its full beauty and grandeur. When a dirty shirt is being washed, should one cry? When wheat is sown in the earth, should one weep? When the wheat is being threshed, should one mourn? When a stone is struck to carve out a beautiful statue, should there be lament? “And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (John 17:26). The old human being studies life; the new one studies Love. Be, then, new human beings—so that you may study Love. —Seventh Lecture by the Master, held at the Seven Rila Lakes on June 28, 1942, 5:00 a.m. Преведена от Невенка Димитрова Редактирана от Ненси Кромптон
