A Letter

TO ALL FRIENDS

LITTLE and BIG

and to

THE GOOD DISCIPLES

Only when the sun shines does life have meaning. Only when rivers flow is the earth developed. Only when it rains is the sown seed blessed. When the fruits ripen, the soul rejoices. Eat the fruits of virtue. Love one another and the Lord will be both outside and inside yourselves. Wear the garments of righteousness. Treat your heart with love. Nurture your mind with wisdom. Serve your soul with the truth, and the great, living Father of peace, the Father of the ages to come, will be with you and you with Him; only then will you know the true God and Christ.
