BREATHING AND RELAXATION


 


Through deep breathing man can free himself from tiredness. When a man feels tired he should take several deep breaths and immediately he will be refreshed. This is easy to explain. We know from physiology that fatigue is due to the assimilation of toxic residues. The elimination which occurs in the kidneys and the sweat glands help with the elimination of the toxins. With deep breathing there is a rich supply of oxygen in the tissues. It increases the oxygenation of poisonous residues and the organism is freed of them. In addition, through deep breathing the tissues absorb more prana which rejuvenates the organism. The rest which man feels after deep breathing is similar to the feeling man has after a good deep sleep.
